Peaceful Shores

While the Atlantic is normally associated with breakers crashing on the shore, it also has its quiet moods, perhaps particularly on the coast of Donegal on the north-west corner of Ireland. Here peaceful inlets are to be found. In the evening particularly a calmness descends over water sparkling during the day and a dark mirror as the sun goes down.
